Training All SWOCISM trainings are the first Thursday of each month beginning at 1900 hours (7:00 p.m.), and alternate locations between the Kettering Medical Center's Dean Amphitheater, (the odd # months) and the City of Forest Park Fire Department training room, (the even # months) unless otherwise noted. These are 90 minute in-service updates. Please note most of the trainings involve group participation. Contact hour certificates are given at each session. Members need to attend 4 trainings per year in order to maintain their active status on the Southwest Ohio CISM Team. At least 2 must be our own SWOCISM trainings, 2 can be from outside sources. Dated, signed certificates must verify all trainings.

  The purpose of the team meetings includes:
1.       Providing continuing education programs
2.       Discussion of the dynamics that occurred in the prior   Month’s    interventions
3.       Providing an opportunity for members to get to know each other before working together during an intervention
4.       Increasing team cohesion
5.       Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, the addressing of problems, and brainstorming
6.       Addressing CISM business, current events, funding issues
7.       Debriefing the debriefers when necessary Please check the Team's 

Directions To Kettering Memorial Hospital Charles F. Kettering Memorial Hospital 3535 Southern Boulevard Kettering, Ohio 45429 937-298-4331 From the north: I-75 south to exit 50B (Springboro Road South). At the traffic light turn left. Go one mile to Dorothy Lane. Turn left onto Dorothy Lane and go 1.5 miles to Southern Blvd. Turn right onto Southern Blvd. to Kettering Memorial Hospital. From the south: I-75 north to exit 47 (Moraine/Kettering exit, Dixie Drive). Go 1.4 miles to the third traffic light. Turn right onto Stroop Road. Go one mile to the third traffic light, and turn left onto Southern Blvd. The hospital is on the left. From 675 east or west: Go to exit 10 (Dorothy Lane) and go west on Dorothy Lane 5 miles to Southern Blvd. Turn left onto Southern Blvd to the hospital.

Training Classroom City of Forest Park Fire Department 1201 West Kemper Road Forest Park, Ohio 45240 (513) 595-5271 Fax: (513) 595-5280 From the south: From I-75 Northbound take I-275 West and take Exit 9 Winton Road - toward Forest Park. Turn left onto Winton Road and look for the Forest Park Fire Station at West Kemper Road. Turn right onto West Kemper and turn left into the Fire Station Parking lot. From the south: From I-75 Southbound take I-275 West and take Exit 9 Winton Road - toward Forest Park. Turn left onto Winton Road and look for the Forest Park Fire Station at West Kemper Road. Turn right onto West Kemper and turn left into the Fire Station Parking lot. From the east: From I-74 Eastbound take I-275 East and take Exit 9 Winton Road - toward Forest Park. Turn right onto Winton Road and look for the Forest Park Fire Station at West Kemper Road. Turn right onto West Kemper and turn left into the Fire Station Parking lot.
